Confidence – Not so Tough
Confidence is a basic need we all have to feel good about ourselves. It’s not about feeling superior or invincible. It’s simply, and with difficulty, about owning who we are, being comfortable in the knowledge that we all have strengthhs and challenges, taking our best foot and putting it forward every day in every way.
Change How You See
What it boils down to is being willing to see the good rather than what we may deem inadequate. Change how you see, not how you look. This applies to who you are as much as it does to how you look. Rather than beating yourself up for what’s not working, for what you have challenges with; celebrate what you can do, what you’re great at, the successes you’ve had and how far you’ve come on your journey.
Get Your Love On
Take note, there is a difference between loving yourself and being arrogant.
Loving yourself is understanding your strengths and not hiding them under a bushel. It’s about seeing your beautiful features rather than dwelling on your slight imperfections. Loving yourself is giving yourself a break once in awhile!
